Conference: From Integration to Community Building

At the end of the pilot project period, we helped organize a rather unusual conference in Hammarkullen. The 110 or so conference participants, who came from different parts of Sweden and were a mixture of professionals from universities, municipalities, regions, etc., were given the opportunity to connect with residents and others working in Hammarkullen and to test reflective dialogue as a method for community development. One aim of the conference days was to create a tighter web, at the area level, between different contexts and enterprises in order to, in this way, illuminate the local community’s possibilities
