How can we encourage the creation of such a culture in urban development processes?

• The working method of linking education, research and community outreach activities has been valuable in creating cultures of participation and learning.
• In the pilot project, we have seen the good results of pursuing the above working method by using students as the engines or driving forces behind local development work.
• We have observed the importance of a) group prerequisites, and b) having rules of the game and c) a teamwork culture.
• Based on this kind of awareness, joint knowledge production and codesign become the focus.
